Although Riviera Group is a Portuguese one, it has it’s origins in Brazil, at Santos City – S. Paulo.

With 32 years of experience, Riviera Group counts on important investments in Real Estate, Tourism, Trade and Leisure areas.

In Brazil, the Group accomplished great and important projects, therefore contributing for the development of Santos City such as the construction of the first big shopping centres in the cost region of S. Paulo, the construction of one of the biggest congress centres of Brazil, several 3,4 and 5 stars hotels as well as countless habitation units.

In 1989 the Group acquired in Portugal the real state company Quinta do Junqueiro, Gestão Imobiliária, S.A., which aloud it to achieve several construction projects amongst which a multifunctional area in Carcavelos, including the Riviera Hotel, a 4 star with 130 comfortable apartments, conference rooms, swimming pools, sauna, gymnasium, tennis court and parking, the Riviera Centre, a shopping centre side by side with the hotel, with 65 shops, a Pingo Doce supermarket, 150 parking places and a food area with several restaurants. Also as part of this complex, 225 tourist apartments of high top quality were developed and harmoniously involved in the project.

Nowadays a big urban project at the shore of the Mondego river in Coimbra is taking course, in a total of 227 habitation units.

Therefore, at the national level, Riviera Group stands out in Real Estate and Tourism areas and it is strategically placed at the Energy area with the distribution of propane gas as well as generating wind power.
In both countries Riviera Group dedicates itself to different business areas, although all of them present at least two common and strongly marked characteristics: Its solidity and its important bet on the development of the regions where they are implemented.
